Odessa Country Club Dress Code
In our commitment to maintaining dignity, membership value and a family atmosphere the following dress code is required. While tastes vary greatly, members and their guests are expected to wear appropriate attire and use common sense in not wearing attire that is offensive to others. Members are responsible for the attire of their entire family and guests. Additional offenses will result in fines and or suspension of membership privileges. Rules cannot be written that can possibly address every instance of inappropriate dress, but here are some requirements.
Golf
Appropriate golf attire is to be worn on the golf courses and golf practice facilities at all times. Golf (spike-less or with soft spikes) or tennis shoes are required.
Men must wear collared shirts and they must be tucked in. Full button down shirts designed to be worn out may be un-tucked. Turtle necks and mock turtles with a minimum collar of 1 1/2 inches are acceptable. Caps and visors must be worn with the bill facing forward.
Women may wear collarless shirts. Women’s sleeveless shirts must have a collar. All women’s tops must cover the midriff. Shorts may be worn but must be of acceptable length.
T-shirts, tank tops, tube tops, halter tops, racer backs, mesh shirts, gym/athletic shorts, cut off shorts, short shorts, sweat pants, tennis outfits, and other dress of similar nature are not appropriate. Clothing that is soiled or with holes is unacceptable attire.
Junior Golfers must abide by the same rules and adults. Exceptions are Little Gushers Campers and juniors age 9 and under.
