Kyle started early in music as a member of the Bonham Junior High Band and Orchestra playing clarinet and bass clarinet. He was a member the Permian Band and Symphonic Band and a Permian Drum Major.
He has studied music at Odessa College and Texas Tech with a focus on classical and jazz guitar. He has been a student of Mike Camden, Denis Harris, Joe Campos and Albert Madrid, as well as with world class guitar player David Brandon, who was a student of Segovia and Chet Atkins.
Kyle has played with the OC Jazz Band, the West Texas Jazz Project, Steven Silva quartet and the Texas Tech Classical Guitar Ensemble. He continues to play jazz and classical guitar locally and throughout west Texas.
He started teaching guitar and piano at the age of 18 at the West Texas Music Academy and has taught ever since.
Richard “Rambo” Miller is the associate guitar instructor at N-Tune Music & Sound in Odessa, Texas. He’s been playing guitar since the age of 8, and has been a top student of N-Tunes’ senior instructor Mike Camden, who he now teaches alongside. Rambo’s musical background is rooted deeply in Hard Rock and Blues, specializing in metal style Lead guitar, and he brought his music to life early on as the frontman and guitarist for the West Texas metal band “Eternal Mosh”, and has had years of experience onstage and in studio.
Rambo is very passionate about playing and teaching, and is a lifelong student of all things guitar. He has also made a commitment to becoming proficient in all styles including Classical, Jazz, Country, Bluegrass, Funk, Tejano, Norteno, and Alternative. Rambo was the Metal Masterclass Instructor for the 2018 West Texas Guitar Festival, and has been chosen to teach again at the 2019 Guitar Festival at the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center. Elisha has been playing guitar for over 10 years and has been teaching guitar for 3 years. His performance experience includes weddings, conferences and concerts. His teaching experience includes both one-on-one instruction and group lessons. He specializes in beginner to intermediate level guitar instruction with an emphasis on technique, timing, and theory. Elisha has a passion to see his students succeed and to prepare them for whatever style or genre of guitar that they choose to pursue. Come see him in our Abilene Store today!
Jeremiah has been playing the drums for about 13 years and has been teaching for a year. He has played in marching band in high school, church and a local band. He emphasizes timing and technique in his instruction and encourages students to explore many styles of drumming and helps guide them to achieve their dreams of musicianship.
Mike is the senior guitar instructor for N-Tune Music. He’s been playing the guitar since the 2nd grade. After high school, he studied music at McLennan Community College in Waco, Texas under the strict guise of David Hibberd and Pat McGee as a guitar major with a minor in bass guitar. After college he began playing in the local scene to gain exposure, playing lead guitar in cover bands playing night clubs and local events. For sixteen years he also played lead guitar at Cross Roads Fellowship Church in Odessa, Texas. There he was able to use theory and leadership skills as the band leader. Mike has almost 20 years experience teaching people of all ages. Like Mike says, “it’s so much fun it should be illegal”.
