Angel Dodson grew up in a family of musicians in Waco, Texas. She received a Bachelors of Music Education degree from Baylor University, where she studied oboe with Dr. Doris DeLoach, and participated in oboe master classes with Ray Still, John Mack, Richard Killmer, and Liviu Varcol. A sought-after oboe teacher, she has taught oboe lessons and master classes in DFW and Central TX for over 25 years, where her students have consistently earned spots in Texas All-Region, All-Area and All-State Band/Orchestras. She was a band director for 11 years, with most of those being in the Arlington Young JH/Martin HS cluster as the Director of Beginning Bands. She is married to Scott Dodson, and has two children, Adrienne and Andrew. Angel loves her job as an Educational Representative because she still gets to be involved in the band world by servicing bands and band directors.
With over 33 years experience as a successful Texas band director, Tim Edins knows what band directors need to make their programs successful. He is a Lifetime Member of the Association of Texas Small School Bands, and is a member of Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and Texas Music Adjudicators Association. Our Aledo Store houses a full service instrument repair facility. Brass or woodwinds, we can fix your instrument should it break. We also recommend that you bring your instrument in for an adjustment. After it has been played for awhile, getting a professional repair technician to check things out may be just what it needs to play like new again.
Our legacy spans many years in the local music business. Our fathers and grandfathers were doing this before us, and their hard work and dedication to music continues on to this very day.
We strive to bring the same service and hard work that those before us possessed. Just like them, we plan to leave a legacy that will carry on the values and traditions that were started many, many years ago.
