Music Education RepAngel Dodson grew up in a family of musicians in Waco, Texas. She received a Bachelors of Music Education degree from Baylor University, where she studied oboe with Dr. Doris DeLoach, and participated in oboe master classes with Ray Still, John Mack, Richard Killmer, and Liviu Varcol. A sought-after oboe teacher, she has taught oboe lessons and master classes in DFW and Central TX for over 25 years, where her students have consistently earned spots in Texas All-Region, All-Area and All-State Band/Orchestras. She was a band director for 11 years, with most of those being in the Arlington Young JH/Martin HS cluster as the Director of Beginning Bands. Angel loves her job as an Educational Representative because she still gets to be involved in the band world by servicing bands and band directors.
